The independent and free doctor search on the White List provides reliable information on around 200,000 doctors throughout Germany - addresses, opening times, additional titles and patient reviews based on a scientifically based questionnaire. A diagnostic interpreter and a specialist interpreter translated medical terms into understandable language.
The most important functions at a glance:
- Search for doctors in the area – using your location as a starting point
- Sort results – by distance or recommendation from other patients
- Compare doctors – by directly comparing the results
- View practices in the area on a map
- Save searches, remember doctors and manage them in the watch list
- Plan directions to the practice – with route display on the map
- Call the practice from the app
- Protect the app with your own PIN
- Have more than 3,000 technical terms and codes translated from the “yellow bill”.

The White List is a non-profit project of the Bertelsmann Foundation and the umbrella organizations of the largest patient and consumer organizations. Project partners in the doctor search are the health insurance companies AOK, BARMER GEK and Techniker Krankenkasse. Those insured by the participating health insurance companies can take part in the doctor's evaluation - and thus help other patients with their search.
